Chiropractic X-ray Technologist Studies - A Focused Review and Update on Common Considerations

This 6-part course includes the following individual modules:

Advanced X-ray Physics 1 & 2 - These two modules provide an update on x-ray physics and include more specificity in the discipline and a bit of a deeper dive into how x-ray imaging works.  Students will be reminded of what they learned in their certification course but will also learn a few more items of interest.

Body Planes - We will be reviewing the planes of the body and their relationship to advance imaging with MRI and CT.  This module contains several videos that further explain how MRI and CT work.  This informs the CXT on the background of MRI and CT and helps the CXT be able to prepare their patients for imaging that they may need.

Radiation Protection - Protecting patients and yourself is paramount and the main reason that licensure is required for x-ray operation. This module reviews protection and reminds the student the importance of radiation protection including how protection might improve your x-ray images.

Radiographic Anatomy 1 & 2 - These modules review skeletal anatomy with the perspective of getting excellent x-rays.  Each body part is reviewed and corelated with the x-ray image. Students will be exposed to imaging options that were not covered in the basic course that might be helpful in obtaining proper imaging for your clinic.
