In this course we will review anatomy of physiology of the cardiovascular system. Topics discussed include heart anatomy, blood flow through the heart, intrinsic conduction system of the heart, blood vessel structure, and factors affecting blood pressure.

Dr. Ashley Owens-Stiltner
Dr. Stiltner is a professor of Human Anatomy and Physiology at Milligan University in Johnson City, TN. She graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2009 and has since enjoyed a robust teaching career while still practicing part time. Her research interests include biomechanics, rehabilitation, nutrition, and physiology. She currently resides in Bristol, TN with her husband, Andrew and mini schnauzer, Dexter.
