Description

This two-hour session integrates gait analysis, pathology recognition, and precision casting into a single comprehensive learning experience. Participants will refine their understanding of how forefoot, midfoot, and rearfoot mechanics contribute to overuse patterns, tissue stress, and compensation through the kinetic chain.
Through live demonstrations and hands-on discussion, the course details step-by-step casting in subtalar neutral, evaluation of pedigraph prints, recognition of leg length discrepancies, and communication with orthotic fabrication labs to ensure accurate modifications. Clinicians will leave with a clear framework for identifying dysfunction, capturing ideal casts, and improving patient outcomes with individualized orthotic design.
