Description

Therapeutic procedures are common in chiropractic offices, and they are also a top denial target when time rules and documentation don’t match what was billed. This course breaks down the core therapy and modality codes chiropractors use most, with a clear focus on time-based coding, modifiers, and what payers expect to see in the record. You’ll leave with practical documentation structures that support skilled care and reduce denials without turning notes into a novel.

Objectives:

  • Apply correct time-based coding rules and documentation standards for common therapeutic procedures and modalities.

Identify the documentation elements and billing pitfalls that most often lead to denials or recoupments.

Access to on-demand products expires on the last day of the calendar year.  They must be viewed/completed within the calendar year in which they are purchased.

*Per TN Board of Chiropractic Examiners' rules, a maximum of three (3) hours may be in courses that pertain to the promotion, growth, business management, and/or clinical documentation of a chiropractic practice.
